About Christoph Kopp
Christoph is an internationally experienced business coach and personal consultant for entrepreneurs and executives. His focus is on developing entrepreneurial leadership strengths as well as repositioning in situations of professional or personal upheaval.
As a freelance consultant, he has extensive experience in operational performance and turnaround management, in the facilitation of strategic future workshops and in the support of numerous start-ups.
He has been invited as speaker on several occasions, including at the Munich Business School, the Federal Association of German Bookbinders, the German Logistics Association and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria.
Together with a few colleagues and friends, Christoph has initiated several networks, such as business-turnaround.de (turnaround consulting for companies in crisis), Sportnetz (career coaching for professional athletes) and the Munich Management Lounge (discussion platform under the auspices of the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce). He is moderator of the HR Stammtisch München, Germany’s largest regional Xing group for HR professionals.
Prior to his self-employment as a consultant and coach, he worked for Applied Materials, the world’s largest manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment and a leading “Fortune 500” company, where he was responsible for the realization of cross-company strategic partnerships and merger projects.
During his fifteen years in Silicon Valley companies, he held various senior management positions, such as Head of European Supply Chain Operations for Applied Materials or the overall responsibility for the European spares & consumables business of Lam Research, the market-leading manufacturer of plasma etching equipment for semiconductor production.
After studying business administration at the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie (VWA) Munich, he participated in various executive leadership trainings in France, Germany and the United States. He was trained as a business coach by Dr. Evelyn Kroschel-Lobodda, lecturer in psychology at the LMU Munich, with certification from the Grundig Academy Nuremberg.
He supplemented his broad knowledge with participation in further education and workshops as with Tiago Forte (Building A Second Brain), Dr. Timothy Clark (Masterclass Business Model You), Bernhard Langwald (profession and vocation), Dr. Pero Micic (future management) and Thomas Baschab (mental training), among others.
Born and raised in South America, Christoph Kopp also studied and worked in the United States, Italy and Germany. He was also often involved in worldwide projects that took him especially to Asian countries such as Japan, Singapore and Taiwan – globalization with all its facets is a lived personal experience for him.
Experience that is very valuable for companies and executives who are adapting to expanded market demands and greater networking opportunities, and who have high expectations of themselves and their employees in the process.
